“We Wanna Dance” Ballroom Bash II featured Gene and Elena Bersten, former featured dancers in “So You Think You Can Dance” and “Burn the Floor”! Gene and Elena are from the Twin Cities area, where they run the highly successful studio, Dance with Us America. In addition to competing in Professional Latin competitions nationwide, they are both incredible teachers. We were treated to Swing and Tango workshops with Gene and Elena Bersten in the afternoon, and three dazzling showcases by Gene and Elena in the evening.
Our thanks to all who helped support the event — planning and publicity, setting up on Friday afternoon/evening, tearing down late Saturday night — we couldn’t offer this unique opportunity to the ballroom dance community without your help and commitment!

We’re pleased to announce “We Wanna Dance” Ballroom Bash II will feature Gene and Elena Bersten, former featured dancers in “So You Think You Can Dance” and “Burn the Floor“! Gene and Elena will join us to teach two workshops and treat us to three professional showdances on September 26th.

A limited number of private lessons with Gene or Elena will be held on Sunday, September 27th, available on a first come, first served basis. Lessons will be held at Cannon Studios, 260 33rd Ave SW, Suite 260, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. See order form for details.
