Thanks to all who attended “We Wanna Dance” Ballroom Bash III Saturday, September 17, 2016!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We Wanna Dance” Ballroom Bash III featured Eric and Michelle<\/strong><\/em> Hudson<\/em>.<\/strong>  The Hudsons are from the Twin Cities area and own and operate the highly-successful studio, Cinema Ballroom.  Eric and Michelle hold numerous titles as national champions and world finalists.  The afternoon session included a rumba workshop by Eric (“Structure and Rhythm in Rumba<\/em>“) and a smooth workshop by Michelle (“Arm Styling from the Body to your Fingertips<\/em>“) by Michelle.  The evening program featured a tango performed by the Hawkeye Ballroom Formation Team (Lance Heady, Alyssa O’Neal, Rose Dove, and Antoine Bethea), an east coast swing by Derrick and Susie Murray, a tango by Eric and Michelle Hudson, a Viennese waltz by Markus Cannon and Mary Osborn, a west coast swing by Derrick and Susie Murray, and a waltz by Eric and Michelle Hudson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our thanks to all<\/strong><\/em> who helped support the event — planning and publicity, setting up on Friday afternoon\/evening, manning the check-in table, tearing down late Saturday night: Steven Bell, Ron Huckins, Abby Huckins, Earl Nicewarner, Rosemary Guehrn, Lois Barber, Samantha Meyer, and LuAnn Hiratzka.  Thanks to Mathew Cover for photographically documenting the evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’re pleased to announce “We Wanna Dance” Ballroom Bash III<\/em> will feature Eric and Michelle Hudson<\/strong>!  Eric and Michelle will join us to teach two workshops and treat us to two professional showdances on September 17th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
